Music Therapy: What Is It and Why Does It Work?

This presentation delivered by Video Conference from the Alberta Children’s Hospital will cover where music therapy came from, how it works, and what can be done to make people more aware of its possibilities. The accredited music therapists will speak about their experiences working with populations including the brain injured, adults and children with developmental delays, mental health, oncology, and individuals in extended care facilities.

If you are new to paper arts or a seasoned pro come and join us to learn some new techniques and leave with a finished product.

  •           Birthday card using brads, thread and dimensional tape.
  •           Tri-fold Card using Stickles Glitter Glue.

FUNDRAISING SKILLS & IDEAS

This session is focused on widening your view of fundraising activities and providing you with over 200 ideas for
fundraising projects. Topics include food sales, sale of services, dinners, specialty sales, used goods, concessions, auctions, earned income from ‘business’ enterprises, equipment rental, cash donation options, educational programming, publishing and intellectual property licensing, special events and games of chance.
