Key Roles

Hello! This coming school year will be my 14th year teaching at Cremona School. I am currently teaching 4th grade. I have loved every year I have spent in Cremona working with amazing students and staff members. It has been a privilege and an honor to teach so many of your children, and get to know so many of you in the process. I have been fortunate as well to have coached Middle School Boys Basketball for 12 of those years in addition to running a grade five camp for as many years. I believe in helping my students to become socially responsible, innovative, and adaptable 21st-century citizens. I believe that teaching also comes with the responsibility of passing on lessons of compassion and caring to students in a world that is becoming increasingly complex. I also believe in building strong relationships with students by engaging them through story and humor. Both of these methods go a long way toward establishing a level of trust and comfort that affords the opportunity for the learner to be successful in their pursuits. Celebrating my student's interests and achievements is another big aspect of my program. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year together!

"What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly - that is the first law of nature."
